The
Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (20 USC § 1092(f))
is the landmark federal law, originally known as the Campus Security Act, that requires colleges and universities with a police or security
department to maintain a public crime log documenting the nature, date, time, and general location of each crime, and its disposition, if known.
To meet this requirement and keep the campus community informed, the UNLPD provides the below log which records all incidents of crimes
and fires reported to the UNLPD and any
Campus Security Authority at UNL.
Incidents are entered into the log within two (2) business days.
The log provides information for the last sixty (60) days, with older logs subsequently made available within two (2) business days upon request.
